Living a good life

 Ignore my face, I was having a great time, but this was so amusing. Doug and Suzanne came over to tell us all about their latest Oregon Coast trip and Remi IMMEDIATELY planted herself on Doug’s lap. He’s not a cat lover and we all just laughed and laughed. She stayed there for a long time. 

Just an adorable picture of Chloe from a friend’s birthday party. We’re finding great new friends in our new ward and school. 

Aaron and Chloe literally broke our six-month old couch from jumping on it like it’s a trampoline. Thankfully it’s from Costco and we just returned it and will do something different for a couch. And we bought a rebounder. 😂

Genevieve brought these cookies home she’d decorated at a yw activity. Zoom in to see the detail and creativity. I will never stop being amazed by her creativity and artistic skill. It doesn’t matter the medium. 

These two. They love each other! It’s taken a couple months. Freya was NOT sure about having another cat around, but Remi has been absolutely relentless in wanting to be friends and it has worked! 

Does it actually get any better? Genevieve fell asleep one evening on the sheepskin in front of the fire with a cat cuddled up. What a life! 

Speaking of a good life, I laughed yesterday when I walked in on the younger two curled up on my bed watching Pokémon. 

Remi adores Bill. She loves climbing up on his shoulders. She actually falls asleep while perched there. 🤯

My friend caught this breathtaking shot on our run yesterday morning. What a glorious reward for being out in the cold early in the morning. 

Looking at the good things

 I missed posting about Halloween last week, but it was really fun. I love our neighborhood and that we’re near family and that we have so many good things going on. 

I got this picture of Genevieve the other day that is straight up mind blowing on her flexibility. She’s in a full lotus pose and still can fold herself over and lay with her head even  lower than her legs. I cannot even fathom that amount of flexibility. 

We got the younger kids’ school pictures. Chloe’s is adorable and I just love Aaron’s so much. It’s totally him to not smile but look good doing it. 😂

Spencer and Genevieve look more and more like twins every day. They’re the exact same height and I’ve only got them by not even an inch. 

We decorated for Christmas at work! And I’m dying laughing over our Snoop Dog Christmas decorations my coworker found at Walmart. How did he become wholesome???

Aaron had his DARE graduation. They sang a song and I loved every minute of it. 

Shock of all shocks, Freya stayed on Genevieve’s lap for maybe 30 seconds after she picked her up. 

Remi on the other hand, she is always on top of someone. 

And look at this adorable sweater that Chloe finally fits enough in to wear! Yellow has been her favorite color for her entire life. 😍
