A few fun things

We took the kids to hike to Diamond Fork Hot Springs last weekend. It was fun and adventurous and ridiculous at times and such a good time. 

Genevieve’s boots had no traction. I switched with her for the hike down and I skated the entire way down. We had spikes in the car and didn’t even think to grab them. Whoops! 

Chloe’s pants got dropped in the water, so she hiked down in a towel.

Spencer’s friend gifted him a sword. Coolest gift ever! 

I ran a charity event yesterday to help raise money for the LA Fires relief effort. Eight miles in downtown Salt Lake area near the Salt Lake Running Company store. It was a nice change in venue and felt good to participate in something useful. I won a hat at the raffle too. Woot!

My brother and his partner gave us a cool Christmas gift we tried out this week. Self contained s’mores. It’s pretty fun! 

We got ourselves a pair of comfy chairs for our front room. Still need a coffee table there, but one more space in our house that feels very welcoming.
