Happy Birthday to Us!

Saturday was a great day.  It was both Spencer's and my birthday and we had a fantastic day.  Of course we forgot to bring our camera to the birthday party, so I'll have to wait to get pictures from my dad and sister, but trust me, it was great.

Notable events of the day:

1 - Spencer gave himself his first bloody nose by falling out of the love sac onto one of his books.  Not the best start to the day, but he survived.

2 - Spencer ate his first cupcake, loved it, ate every molecule he could find, and thoroughly enjoyed wiping it all over himself as he ate. :)

3 - Spencer got a bunch of books for his birthday, as requested, and is loving all of them.  He's quite the little reader. You know, he chews on his books, flips through the pages, throws them at me.  It's all good.

4 - We celebrated mine and my brother Greg's birthdays as well, since our birthdays are two days apart.  Lots of great presents were given and we had an awesome time at my grandparent's house. Thanks for hosting!

5 - We got what was essentially our first real snow of the winter that was not winter, right as Bill and I headed up to Sundance to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday at the Tree Room restaurant.

6 - Dinner was AMAZING.  It was totally worth braving the snow.   The only picture we got from that?  Us in the car on the way out.  Oops.

7 - We drove between 20-30 mph all the way back down the canyon in quite the blizzardy conditions.  Here's to the Jeep in 4WD!

8 - That's it.  Seven notable things in a day.  That seems like enough. Ha!
