I made this with a scrap piece of plywood I had lying around. And since my sander died a month ago, I sanded it by hand. That was exciting. I only used 1/2" plywood since that's what I had. I may redo it with 3/4" the next time I have some of that for a project, but for now this worked fine minus a bit of trouble with one side since the plywood isn't entirely flat. We'll see how it works once I get my soap supplies this week and make a batch. Good times.
